Garden Party Baby Shower

I had the honor and privilege of hosting and styling a baby shower for my sweet sister-in-law and her baby girl, Ava this past weekend. Due to safety concerns with Covid-19, the mama-to-be decided it would be best to stay home in Houston and forgo the shower. However we still wanted to celebrate her so we had her Zoom in on the computer! Non-traditional, yet a beautiful Sunday morning and the perfect day to shower our mama-to-be! My other sister-in-law, Kelsie, helped me host and we picked a garden party theme for the special day. Everything turned out how I had imagined it and it was a lovely day! Here are some pictures of all the decor at the party! I will also include an affiliate link for all the sources as well!

The Decor

Favors for the guest included a small teapot that had a rose lemonade tea inside a small tea bag that read “a baby is brewing”. We also set up a Polaroid station for guests to snap photos with the mama-to-be, but since she was not here it was used for guests to snap photos to send to her instead! Since she was unable to attend, we used the peacock chair to open a few gifts for her as she watched on the computer. You know I couldn’t resist getting a pic with it lol! Tables were set with super cute disposable plates, cups, napkins, and silverware.

Food + Drink

For the guests we had breakfast bags filled with yogurt parfaits, muffins, candied bacon, and fresh fruit. Considering the times of the Coronavirus we wanted to keep things single serve to eliminate any cross-contamination. We also had the cookies individually wrapped for guests as well. The cake was a delicious lemon berry rose flavor. For the mimosa bar we had three different juices: orange, raspberry, and peach, as well as blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries for garnish. For non alcoholic drinks we served tea, coffee, and ice water.
